Helena Housing has recently introduced some new ways to pay your rent. This leaflet tells you about the options available to you.
It’s your choice
You can choose to pay your rent in any of these ways:
- You can set up a direct debit so your rent is paid direct from your bank account. You can choose to pay weekly or monthly [ more> ]
- You can pay your rent by cash, cheque or debit card at any post office (you will need to have your rent payment card with you to do this) [ more> ]

You can pay your rent direct from your bank account automatically each week or month without having to leave your home. It’s the most convenient way to pay and the Direct Debit guarantee ensures that it’s safe and secure.
It couldn’t be simpler. If you have a bank account, you simply need to fill in a direct debit mandate form and tell us if you want to pay every Friday or on the 1st, the 8th or the 23rd of each month.

With your payment card, you can choose to pay your rent by cash, cheque or debit card at any post office.
Hand your payment card to the assistant along with your cash, cheque or debit card. Make your cheque payable to “Post Office Counters Ltd”. The assistant will give you a receipt for the money you have paid.

You can now pay by telephone using your credit or debit card. Simply phone us on 01744 636969 between 8am and 8pm Monday to Thursday and 8am to 5pm on Fridays. One of our customer service advisers will take your payment and send you a receipt.

You can pay over the Internet using your debit or credit card on our fully secure website. You will need the reference number on your payment card to hand to do this.
