Helena Homes also covers the work we do to ensure the sustainability of our neighbourhoods, by working with residents and partners to make safer, cleaner, healthier, working communities.  

In terms of investing in neighbourhoods, Helena Homes will build on some of our past successes which include:  

• Investing £180million in our homes, achieving 97% decent homes standard so far.
• Capturing detailed information about 80% of our tenants, and using this information to deliver tailored services to those that need them.
• Introducing “Under One Roof”, a hugely successful choice based lettings service for all social housing in the borough, working with the council and local social landlords to provide a one stop service.
• Continuing to influence the development of neighbourhood management as key partners in the Re:New Parr neighbourhood management pilot.
• Our neighbourhood teams working with thousands of local people on over 270 projects, tackling issues like worklessness, health, crime and the environment, and bringing in over £3.8million extra cash into some of the most deprived estates in the country.
