Homes in the Thatto Heath area...
Thatto Heath
A range of properties built between 1920s and 1970s. They incorporate all types of accommodation, the majority of which now benefit from new uPvc windows, doors and central heating. There is a good range of shops within walking distance. Some of the properties are situated on a fairly steep hill but all are within easy reach of bus routes to St Helens and Rainhill Village. There is also a train station with links to Liverpool, St Helens and Wigan.
Sutton Heath
With the exception of a small number of houses on Sherdley Road, all of the properties in this area were built around the 1960s early 1970s and most benefit from central heating and uPvc windows and doors. There is a small selection of local shops. A number of other Housing Associations have properties on the estate. The estate is within walking distance of the shopping centre at Thatto Heath but for those who are unable to walk there is a regular bus service.
Nutgrove
Built in the 1980s this area consists of a sheltered housing complex. There are a number of bungalows with a warden service (not living on site). All facilities are easily accessible and the complex is linked to a main bus route.
Rainhill
Properties in this area were built between the 1950s and 1970s. They consist of Semi-detached and link houses. Most have full central heating and uPvc doors and windows. All are within easy walking distance from Rainhill Village centre and also on a bus route with a regular service to both St Helens town centre and Liverpool. There is also a train station with links to Liverpool and Manchester via Newton-le-Willows.
